Warbirds Downunder 2018 Dates Announced

The Warbirds Downunder Airshow will be returning to the skies over the Temora Aviation Museum on October 12 & 13, 2018! Warbirds Downunder 2018 (WD2018) will incorporate an evening airshow on Friday October 12, and a full-day airshow on Saturday October 13, 2018.

The last Warbirds Downunder in 2015 was the largest gathering of Warbird Aircraft that Australia had ever seen, and Warbirds Downunder 2018 promises to be even more impressive, with the possibility of some added extras! The full line-up of aircraft will be published as WD2018 approaches; however, spectators can expect to see a similar line-up of aircraft to those assembled for the 2015 airshow, which included:

Spitfire Mk XVI, Spitfire Mk VIII, Lockheed Hudson, CAC Boomerang, Cessna A-37 Dragonfly, Tiger Moth, Ryan STM, Ryan PT-22, Ryan SCW, CAC Wirraway, Gloster Meteor, CAC Sabre, Corsair, Grumman Avenger, RAAF Boeing C-17 Globemaster, RAAF Boeing EA-7 Wedgetail, RAAF F/A-18 Hornets, RAAF C-130J Hercules, RAAF King Air, RAAF Hot Air Balloon, RAAF Roulettes, CAC CA-18 Mustangs, P-40 Kittyhawks, Vultee Valiant BT-13, Lockheed 12, Waco AGC-8, Cessna O-1 Birddog, Winjeels, NZAI CT-4, T-28 Trojan, Southern Knights Aerobatic Team, Harvards, Russian Roolettes, Yaks, Nanchangs, Cessna 195s, Stinson Reliant SR-8, Stearmans, Constellation, C-47 Dakota, Catalina, Caribou, Auster, Piper J-3 Cub, Globe Swift, and Chipmunk.

Temora Shire Council will again be offering self-contained airfield camping, and the popular Tent City ‘Glamping’ option will also be available for those looking for the simplicity of staying on the airshow site.

Tickets for Warbirds Downunder 2018 and airfield camping options will not be available until April 2018, but make sure that you save October 12 & 13, 2018 in your calendar as it is a weekend not to be missed.
